Quotes and contracts

Send the quote. Get it accepted, signed and paid from one link.

The paperwork between “yes, I’d love to book you” and the shoot is where photographers lose days. Galerly compresses it: the quote is accepted online, the contract is generated from the accepted quote, the client signs and pays the deposit in the same link, and the welcome document with session prep and timeline writes itself from the contract.

Facts and prices checked on 2026-09-03.

Quotes clients accept in a click

Build the quote from your service catalog or from scratch, in the client’s currency and language, and send a public link. The client accepts or declines without an account. An accepted quote can generate the contract in one step, so the line items and the price never get retyped.

Contracts signed electronically, countersigned by you

Write the contract in the editor or generate it from the accepted quote, send it, and the client signs on a public page. You countersign from your account. Both signatures are stamped with the time they were given and stored on the contract, which is available as a PDF. For weddings in Germany, Austria and Switzerland there is a free contract generator with the statutory references already in place.

Try the wedding contract generator for DE, AT and CH.

Wedding contract template

One link: accept, sign, pay

The combined proposal puts the quote, the contract and the deposit on one page. The client reads the terms, signs, and pays the deposit by card or PayPal through your Stripe account, or chooses bank transfer. The balance is requested later from the same record. Nothing is signed without being seen, and nothing is paid without being signed.

The welcome document writes itself

Once the contract is signed, Galerly generates a welcome document for the client: session preparation, a timeline built from the contract dates, tips and a FAQ, in the client’s language, and emails it. The project is created at the same time with the deliverables the contract promised, and it warns you at delivery if the gallery does not match them.

Plans

Caps apply to creating new documents. A contract generated from an accepted quote is never blocked by the cap: the client has already said yes.

Limits worth knowing

  • Signatures are simple electronic signatures with a timestamp and the signer’s email, which is what photography contracts normally use. Galerly does not issue qualified electronic signatures (QES).
  • The contract templates are not legal advice. The DACH wedding generator cites the statutes it relies on so your lawyer can check them.
  • No questionnaire builder and no clause library beyond the templates; long custom contracts are written in the editor.

Frequently asked questions

Can the client sign without creating an account?

Yes. The signing page is a public link; the client reads, signs and, in a combined proposal, pays the deposit on the same page.

In which language does the client see the contract?

In the language you set for that client: English, French, German or Italian. The document keeps that language after it is sent, even if you change the client’s preference later.

What happens when I hit 3 contracts on Free?

You cannot create a fourth by hand until you upgrade or delete one, but everything already sent stays readable, editable, signable and payable. Starter at $9 per month removes the cap.

Is there a fee on the deposit?

On the Free plan, 15% of card and PayPal payments taken through Stripe; on Starter and above, 0%. Bank transfer never carries a fee. Stripe’s own processing fee is separate.
