Most photographers stitch four tools together: a culling tool, a gallery host, an invoicing app, a contract signer. Every export, import, and copy-paste between them is a place where time disappears and mistakes happen. Galerly is one subscription, one login, one company to call when something breaks — the same photos the AI ranks are the photos the client opens, in the same tool that issues their invoice.

How do I create my first gallery?

Go to Portfolio in the sidebar. Choose from pre-built templates, customize your sections (hero, about, galleries, contact), set your theme and colors, then publish. Your portfolio is available at yourname.galerly.com, or you can connect a custom domain.

You can upload exported photos from any editing tool. We support batch uploads of hundreds of photos at once. Drag and drop directly into your gallery or use the upload button. Duplicate detection prevents accidental re-uploads.

Galerly takes 15% of client payments you collect through Stripe on Free, and 0% on every paid plan, which start at $9/month.

How does upgrading work?

Upgrades take effect immediately. You pay the full price of the new plan, minus a credit for the unused portion of your current subscription. For example: if you're on Starter monthly ($9) and upgrade to Pro monthly ($29) after 2 days of a 31-day cycle, you get a credit of ~$8.42 for 29 unused days, and pay $29 - $8.42 = $20.58. We always show you the exact amount before you confirm.

How does downgrading work?

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period only. No refund or credit is provided. You keep full access to your current plan features until your period ends, then your new plan starts automatically. If your usage exceeds the target plan's limits, we'll let you know what needs to be adjusted.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes, anytime. Switching from monthly to annual is treated as an upgrade (takes effect immediately: you pay the full annual price minus credit for unused monthly days). Switching from annual to monthly is treated as a downgrade (takes effect at the end of your annual period). Annual billing saves at least 20% compared to monthly.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel from the Billing page at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no refunds. After your period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. Your payment information is securely processed and never stored on our servers. You can also add your company name and VAT number during checkout for your invoice.

No. All payments are final. No refunds or credits are provided under any circumstances. When you downgrade or cancel, your current plan remains active until the end of your billing period — you always get what you paid for. We recommend starting with the Free plan to test the platform before committing to a paid subscription.

How does currency work?

You set a default currency in Profile Settings, and it applies to new invoices, quotes, and pricing. It is a default, not a lock: change it whenever you want, and pick a different currency on any single document. Each document keeps the currency it was created in, so changing your default never rewrites a document you already sent. Supported currencies are USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, and AUD.

Can I change my currency after sending invoices?

Yes, any time, in Profile Settings. Nothing is locked. Invoices and quotes you already sent keep the currency they were created in, so your existing records stay consistent. New documents use your new default, and you can still override the currency on a single document. Note that Stripe converts to your payout currency when a client pays in a currency your bank account does not hold.

Do you take a cut of what my clients pay?

15% on the Free plan, 0% on every paid plan. It applies to client payments you collect through Stripe: invoices, booking deposits, and store sales. The 15% is worked out on the amount before shipping and tax. Bank transfer is never charged, on any plan. You connect your own Stripe account, so we never hold your money.

How long do galleries stay active?

Galleries never expire. As long as your account is active and within your storage quota, your galleries remain online indefinitely.

Yes. You control downloads per gallery — enable or disable them, allow single photos or full gallery downloads. Clients can download in original resolution. You can also set up download PINs for extra security.

Yes. Clients can mark favorites, leave comments on individual photos, request edits with visual annotations, and create selection lists. You'll be notified of all client activity.

Yes. Galleries can be standalone or linked to projects. A project can contain multiple galleries, and galleries can be shared independently or as part of a project delivery.

Create a quote with your pricing and services, send it to the client via a public link. When they accept, you can auto-generate a contract from the quote. Clients sign digitally via eSignatures, included on every plan. The entire flow is: Quote → Contract → Project → Gallery → Delivery.

Yes, on every plan including Free. The invoicing system lets you create professional invoices, set due dates, and track payment status. Invoices can be sent via email and paid online through Stripe. Turn on bank transfer in Payments settings and save your IBAN, and your account details go out on the invoice so the client can pay you directly.

How many clients and projects can I have?

The Free plan holds up to 5 clients and 3 projects. Starter holds 25 clients and 10 projects. Pro and Business are unlimited. The cap is on adding new ones: you can always send more quotes, contracts and invoices to a client you already have, and nothing is ever deleted if you move to a smaller plan. You just cannot add a new client or project until you upgrade or remove one.

Visitors to the subdomain root get redirected to your real website.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile Settings and scroll to the bottom. Click "Delete Account". You'll be asked to confirm. All data including photos, galleries, and client data will be permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.
